As marketing co-ordinator at The Sebel Maroochydore I was responsible for producing advertising and marketing collateral, creating daily social media content, co-ordinating photoshoots, developing business collaborations and running VIP events.
To increase social media engagement for The Sebel Maroochydore I compiled a list of 100 unforgettable experiences the Sunshine Coast has to offer - sharing one photo a day on Instagram. This campaign was a great success - tripling The Sebel Maroochydore’s Instagram followers.
Logo design for a placemaking startup in Bundaberg.
The Sebel Maroochydore teamed up with Brouhaha Brewery to create an exclusive Accor Plus Members weekend for the inaugural Sunshine Coast Craft Beer & Cider Festival.
The event included an exclusive food and craft beer pairing evening with the Brouhaha Brewmaster as well as VIP corporate tent entry at the festival.
I completed an internship at Crisis Ready in Brisbane where I produced a Disaster Management Public Information Manual for the Scenic Rim Regional Council as well as other marketing and design elements for the company.
A unique postcard campaign designed for a local gelato shop.
I’ve acquired a reputation as the poster and invitation factory - designing posters for work, my local Rugby Club, friend’s birthdays and wedding invitations.
At The Sebel Maroochydore I produced a range of marketing materials promoting weddings and events at the hotel.
As an account manager at Frank & Dixon advertising agency I was fortunate enough to work with some great local and international brands. Some highlights include:
- rebranding and launching SPS Energy as a leading Australian solar company, enabling them to expand into international markets;
- increasing pre-event ticket sales for the PGA championships through a targeted social media and Google Adwords campaign;
- writing copy for a summer postcard series to celebrate 15 years of Bark Architecture and seeing them beautifully produced and delivered.
Most recently I have been working at Bayswater and was brought on board to drive their new breakfast menu and run their Instagram page.
Some of my favourite projects created at The University of the Sunshine Coast.
I enjoy taking photos on digital slr, 35mm film and polaroid cameras.
Only recently moving to Hervey Bay in May I have become an active member of the community - writing the Fraser Coast Foodie column in Life & Style and joining the Fraser Coast Chronicle float in the whale parade. I look forward to injecting new energy into my next project.
